Behind the colorful stripes of this bag is a story of trash to treasure. Vibrant colored, recycled plastic bags are cut and heat-fused together to create these one-of-a-kind purses. The Color Fuse Purse is made by women and men of Conserve, a non-governmental organization working in the slums to promote adult literacy and skills training. Conserve brings much needed resources for housing, health care, water treatment and education for adults and children. Its workers handcraft each colorful bag by turning trash into treasure. Measures 15" wide, 7" tall (not including handle), and 3.5" deep. SOLD OUT for the holidays. Orders for this item will be fulfilled in the new year.
