Our Bendant Lamp brilliantly provides high design impact with minimal use of material. It is a flat-packed chandelier composed of a series of leaf-like shades set around a central fixture. The shades can be bent up or down, creating unique light and shadow arrangements. This laser-cut, powder coated steel fixture ships flat, awaiting your intervention to bend and transform it into a dynamic hanging sculpture. Material and process guide the Bendant Lamps design, making it a true example of eco-centric design. The size of the lamp, shape of the cuts and flat packaging are a result of material and manufacturing efficiencies. In addition, the lamp welcomes the user as co-designer pushing the boundaries of design and self-assembly. Designed for use with 20W/120V compact fluorescent globe, not included. Hardwiring kit available for $10 extra.
