Can I place my order by phone?
Of course. Call us at 650.692.2152 for personalized service between 11am - 5pm PST. We return calls promptly if we happen to miss your call. You may also please send us a message instead if you prefer.
Can I send my order as a gift?
Yes, Re:modern products make great gifts and can be sent with a complimentary, handwritten gift card. Just type in your Gift Message at the order prompt, and list your lucky recipient as the Ship To address.
How much are shipping costs?
We make shipping simple to calculate with flat rates based your merchandise total. Shipping is free on orders totalling $250 and up. Visit the Re:modern Store Policies page for a schedule of shipping rates.
Can you rush or express ship an item?
Yes, we can upgrade orders to express shipping for most in-stock items. Please contact us before 1pm PST for same day shipment. Additional charges will apply.
When will I receive my items?
We automatically forward tracking information and estimated arrival dates to customers by email, whenever available. Most in-stock items will ship out of our warehouse within 2 business days. Delivery times vary depending on item and destination, but typically range from 2-7 business days with ground shipping. If there is a date you must receive items by, please tell us in the Notes area of the order prompt so we can facilitate the delivery timing.
How can I check the status of an order?
We make every effort to pass along new information to you by email regarding your order. Contact Re:modern to inquire further about your order status.
What do I do if the item I want is backordered?
You can still place orders for backordered items either online or by phone. We will not charge your credit card until items are back in stock and ready to ship. If only part of your purchase is backordered, you may receive the other items first. We will notify you if this is the case.
Do you offer furniture assembly services?
White Glove Delivery is available on large furniture items at an additional cost. Please contact us directly for more information.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, we accept returns and exchanges on most items. Visit the Re:modern Store Policies page for more details.
Do you charge sales tax?
Re:modern does not charge tax charged for orders shipped to destinations outside California. For orders shipped to California addresses only, 8.25% CA sales tax will be added automatically. Customers are expected to comply with your state's tax regulations regarding internet purchases.
Do you offer samples of the 3-D wallpaper?
Yes, we have sample packs available of our Sculptural Wall Tiles in either the V2 or designs. Each sampler pack contains 4 tiles, one of each color for $15.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
We do not ship packages to P.O. boxes because most facilities will reject packages. If you have a P.O. box as your billing address, you must provide a separate non-P.O. box address for shipping.
How do I redeem a gift certificate?
Re:modern Gift Certificates are easy to redeem. Simply the code shown on the certificate during checkout and the credit will be applied to your purchase.
Do you offer a gift registry or wishlist?
Yes. There is a free Re:modern Gift Registry and Wishlist available through our website. You may create or look up registries at any time to keep track of your favorite items
Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or international locations outside the continental US?
Yes, Re:modern does ship to locations outside the U.S. mainland, but additional shipping charges will apply. Our flat rate shipping is based on destinations within the continental United States, so you will have to pay the difference between that and costs to your location. We will use the most economical shipping method possible, but be aware that shipping can add up quickly in these instances.
Do you accept payments from other countries?
Currently, we accept orders paid in USD from accounts originating from United States banks only.
